Journey
from the outside in ...
Yoga has served as the FOUNDATION for my physical and mental strength wherever I've traveled. I’ve called cities and villages in North and South America, Asia, and Africa home, but now I live in Paris. I've worked as an anthropologist and documentary filmmaker, a teacher and a writer. Sometimes I’ve felt like an unfocused nomad, but with each new address and job, yoga has kept me CONNECTED to my TRUTH, my deepest NEED: to guide people toward seeing their significance and appreciating the relevance of others.
Find alignment in LIFE
I started practicing yoga at university. At first it was a complement to working out at the gym and running. I liked the way asanas LENGTHEN muscles and added BALANCE and FLEXIBILITY. When medical issues pushed me to the point where I couldn’t recognize myself as the person looking back in the mirror, I felt betrayed by my body. Through yoga, I realized the opposite is true. Our bodies do the best they can to carry us through life. We have an innate need to MOVE toward the positive and strength, and ultimately to seek joy and abundance.
Move with PRECISION;
Flow with FREEDOM
I believe in setting intentions to go beyond limitations. I believe in an open heart, and breathing from the depths of the soul. I believe awareness can heal, TRANSFORM and expand possibilities. I believe in exploring the depths of our strength.
